But Salsa Stories is more than just a dip brand - it’s rooted in a personal story that spans decades and continents.
It all began in the summer of 1995, in a colourful Tex-Mex restaurant in Virginia. Founder Julie spent her childhood summers in the States, where her dad lived. That family restaurant was full of piñatas, mariachi music, and unforgettable flavours - especially the salsa. It was so good, they even sold it by the jar. Julie would think about it all year long, and nothing back home in the UK ever came close.
Years later, after her father passed away in 2019, those memories resurfaced. Food and memory go hand in hand - and in 2021, during lockdown, Julie decided to bring that taste back to life. That one unforgettable salsa recipe became the heart of Salsa Stories.
Today, their range includes the original Coriander & Lime, Chipotle, and Tomato Salsas, along with a growing family of dips inspired by that early love of bold, honest flavour.
