Born from a family joke and built with serious culinary intent, Sosij is shaking up the world of sausages. What started as a childhood nickname has grown into a bold, flavour-forward brand with an impressive following; beloved by BBQ lovers and chefs alike.

Crafted in small batches using outdoor-reared pigs from high-welfare local farms, Sosij sausages are specially designed for low and slow cooking. The result? Crisp skin and tender, juicy meat that cooks in its own fat - essentially a confit wrapped in natural casing.

The idea behind Sosij is simple but clever: if chefs spend hours building flavour and balance in a plated dish, why not bring those same components together inside a single, seriously good sausage? Each Sosij is a celebration of chef-led thinking, combining bold flavour profiles inspired by global cuisines and 15+ years of kitchen experience.

Initially launched as an artisan hot dog street food venture, Sosij was forced to pivot when the hospitality industry paused during Covid. That’s when the founder, a former professional chef, leaned into the world of BBQ and smoking. Trading commercial kitchens for coals and smoke, he mastered new techniques that elevated Sosij into what it is today - a product designed to perform just as well in a smoker as it does in a pan.
